“...DOC is one of the best field trips I have ever participated in! My students are able to experience what life as a college student is like, and get all their questions answered. Parents are able to learn about different types of colleges as well as financial aid availability for their children, which is such an important aspect of the field trip. I know that parents feel like they have a starting point into looking into college for their young student, as well as have lots of their questions answered!! At the end of the day students and parents definitely felt more at ease and college no longer felt like an abstract idea. I know that my students are more motivated than ever to attend college and for this, I am very grateful!
