The Cooking Academy Summer Program was created in order to widen kid's knowledge and experience on diverse cuisine in cultures. In order to achieve this goal, we held biweekly cooking activities for the kids which consisted of crepes from France, ramen from China, lasagna from Italy, and sushi from Japan. We had a series of 9 cards, with 3 games in each card for the kids to complete. Each card represented a rank in the culinary world and they had to work themselves up to reach being an Executive Chef! We also decided to take the kids on a field trip to the Claremont Chefs Academy, where they were able to create their own meal, PIZZA!
The Cooking Academy Summer Program was a technology-based cooking program in which students learn academic skills while learning through play! This program took place Monday through Friday from early June till August
